To call a room with automatic talk-listen operation:
Pick up the phone and dial the three-digit intercom number for the room when you hear the dial tone. (The system can be programmed to dial the room number directly upon request.) After a one-second call tone, you can start speaking. The intercom will automatically switch between talk and listen modes. To end the conversation, simply hang up. If another user is using the intercom, you will hear a busy tone when picking up the phone. The tone will change to a dial tone once the intercom becomes available.

To call a room with manual talk-listen operation:
For manual operation, pick up the phone and dial * followed by the three-digit intercom number for the room when you hear the dial tone. After a one-second call tone, the intercom will be in listen mode. Press any key on the phone to switch to talk mode, and press any key again to return to listen mode. To end the conversation, hang up the phone. If another user is using the intercom, you will hear a busy tone when picking up the phone. The tone will change to a dial tone once the intercom becomes available.

Making an all-call:
Pick up the phone and dial 999 when you hear the dial tone. After a one-second call tone, the system will be in talk mode until you hang up the phone.

Making an all-call without exam rooms:
Pick up the phone and dial 998 when you hear the dial tone. After a one-second call tone, the system will be in talk mode until you hang up the phone.

Ringing the bell (all units):
Pick up the phone and dial 900 when you hear the dial tone. A seven-second dual-tone signal will be heard on all loudspeakers. If the bell input is triggered during an announcement, the bell tone will be heard as soon as the phone is hung up.

Using the music input:
Dial # before a room number, group number, or all-call (999) to switch the music connected to the music input to the selected rooms. The music will automatically switch off during an announcement and reconnect afterward. To stop the music, pick up the phone and dial # when you hear the dial tone. A confirmation tone will be heard on the phone.

Fault Finding

The modular design, with no electronic components on the motherboard allows for quick and easy repairs and module replacements. The motherboard also acts as a distribution panel for easy installation and location of cable faults. The integrated automatic line testing capability enables a technician to test the system and locate faults within minutes.










Relay Cards Upgrades

Relay-cards and Amplifier modules can be added to suit every requirement. Each relay card can accommodate 36 rooms and has its own led display to indicate which relay, card or group is selected, further simplifying fault finding on the intercom network.












Formats and Expansions

All Intercoms are assembled to order and to suit every unique requirement.

Systems are available in the following formats and expansions:

> Motherboard with three relay-card slots that can operate from 36 up to 108 rooms.

> Motherboard with seven relay-card slots that can operate up to 252 rooms.

> Extension-boards with eight relay-card slots can be added for systems up to 540 or
up to 828 rooms.
